Certex UK Provides an Evacuator Demo Day for Port of Cork

Last week, at our Harworth location, Certex UK welcomed Pork of Cork.  

After meeting Pork of Cork at a tradeshow we invited them down and had the pleasure of providing a demo day for some of Port and Cork’s employees, to display our Evacuator Descent System. The Evacuator Escape Descent System is designed so that technicians, operators and employees can descent safely from a working at heights structure. This product works for cranes, wind turbines, and any structures at height.

The demo day consisted of a 10 a.m. introduction, followed by a technical presentation on the evacuator. The port team had a live demonstration in which they took part in descending from our working at height tower at our Certex UK head office. The demonstration was supervised by our working at height trainers Sam and Wez. After the demo, lunch was provided to finish off the exciting day.
